I was asked to do a 3 tiered cake for a little girl's 4th birthday. She wanted bright colors and polka dots - very simple and very sassy! I think they turned out great! My friend who requested the cake is a fabulous photographer ~ hence the awesome pic of the cake (Thanks Jeni!!) This was before I had my own turntable, which is very helpful in smoothing out the icing, and working on cakes in general. Jeni was so surprised I had done these without a turntable! These cakes were intended to be stacked, but once I got there with the cakes, we decided they looked great the way they were.
The tops of each cake were sprinkled with edible glitter to give it a little sparkle!
